Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC Sponsors the “Share The Warmth” Event to Collect Winter Apparel for Students in Need
On January 7th, Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC sponsored the “Share the Warmth” drive for The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools at The Exchangeree, a collaborative center set up by the Foundation to provide teachers with essential school supplies for their classrooms. The “Share the Warmth” drive collects hats, gloves, scarves, mittens and other winter accessories, as well as band-aids and tissues for Baltimore County Public School students in need.
Approximately 30 volunteers braved the snow to join our attorneys in collecting and organizing winter apparel to be donated to students throughout Baltimore County. Those in attendance were treated to food and drink consisting of tasty appetizers and a Share the Warmth cake to celebrate the evening.
Our firm offers many thanks to Mary Rose E. Cook for organizing the event and helping to make the fundraiser possible. Debbie Phelps, the Executive Director of The Education Foundation, gave a wonderful and inspiring speech to conclude the event. She detailed the work undertaken by the Foundation to support Baltimore County school teachers in their efforts to provide a quality education for their students. In addition to the Share the Warmth program, the Foundation collects school supplies, provides support for the arts program, and offers mentoring for young teachers.
We wholeheartedly thank every participant who attended the event and donated in support of this cause or couldn’t attend, but still donated. To contact the team of skilled attorneys at Adelberg Rudow, click here.
