Adelberg Rudow Member Tracy Steedman Offered Expertise at the ABA COVID-19 Leadership Roundtable
Last month, Adelberg Rudow Member Tracy Steedman joined other industry leaders including Anthony Gonzales, Kristen L Sherwin, and Rhonda Caviedes in a COVID-19 Leadership Roundtable. The series is hosted by the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law and HKA for company leaders and lawyers to address the impacts of COVID-19 on their businesses, and how to manage related risks. The panel spoke virtually to over 350 lawyers and construction industry team members.
Tracy’s panel discussed supply chain disruption, excusable delays, suspension, force majeure, and adjustments to the project budget and schedule.
In the session, they also covered the range of contract and legal remedies and claims that are certain to be features of the construction landscape for the foreseeable future. The panel was able to address attendee questions and offer expertise on how to address the deepening effects of the crisis. The Leadership Roundtable will continue on June 9 at 4 pm and continue every Tuesday through June.
