Adelberg Rudow Sponsors Apple Harvest Festival to Benefit Scouts BSA Troop 1485

Adelberg Rudow recently sponsored the second annual Apple Harvest Festival fundraiser for Troop 1485, a Scouts BSA Troop for girls located in Sparks Glencoe in northern Baltimore County. With twenty-five Scouts, Troop 1485 is one of the largest all-girl Troops in the Baltimore area. The Troop was co-founded in 2019 by Scoutmaster Annette Hottenstein and Troop Committee Chair Joey Kroart, an Eagle Scout and Associate Attorney with Adelberg Rudow. Both of Joey’s daughters are Scouts in the Troop.

Each guest, including Adelberg Rudow managing member Oren Saltzman, enjoyed a yummy, warm apple crisp dessert topped with vanilla ice cream served by the Scouts. Some of the Scout dads were working the oversized grill outside, grilling up food available for purchase. Guests could bid on roughly one hundred and fifty different donated items, gift cards and services at the silent auction, and they could purchase a number of baked goods and handmade crafts, many made by the Scouts themselves. Younger guests could have their faces painted by Scouts or could try their luck at the super-popular kids toy raffle.

Proceeds from the Apple Harvest Festival will be used by Troop 1485 to purchase camping gear and to build up a reserve fund that supports Scouts who have financial need. If you would like to make a donation, a Go Fund Me has been set up here.
