Bar Association of Baltimore City Honors Jeff Trueman with Adelberg Rudow-Sponsored Paul A. Dorf Memorial Alternative Dispute Resolution Award
At the Bar Association of Baltimore City’s 24th Annual Past Presidents Luncheon, Jeff Trueman was honored with the Paul A. Dorf Memorial Alternative Dispute Resolution Award, an award sponsored by Adelberg Rudow. Oren Saltzman, managing member of Adelberg Rudow and chairman of the award committee, presented the award. Jeff Trueman is the seventh individual to receive the award since its inception in 2012. Established after the death of Judge Paul A. Dorf, a long-time named partner of Adelberg Rudow, the award serves to recognize an individual in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area who has substantially contributed to the furtherance of the goals of alternative dispute resolution for mediation and arbitration to resolve legal conflicts.
Jeff Trueman is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, an invitation-only organization of commercial and private mediators practicing mediation throughout the world. He is also an LLM candidate at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine School of Law. Jeff Trueman conducts private mediations and settlement conferences in a wide variety of litigated disputes including personal injury, toxic torts, professional liability and malpractice, real property, commercial contracts, employment, domestic, family property and contested guardianships. Before starting his own private mediation practice, Jeff was the Director of Civil Alternative Dispute Resolution for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and attorney in private practice specializing in real property matters.

Dorf Memorial Alternative Dispute Resolution Award each year in order to recognize recipients, such as Jeff Trueman, across the Baltimore Metropolitan area who exemplify the qualities of the late Judge Paul A.
