The People Behind the Firm: Ronald N. Scott, HMCS, (S.W.) U.S.N., Ret.

Ronald N. Scott was born in Baltimore, Maryland to 1st Sgt. Lloyd R. and Mrs. Effie G. Scott, Sr. He is the second oldest child of 15 children (eight sisters and six brothers, all of whom also served in the military). Ron graduated from Baltimore City College high school in 1967 and joined the Navy two months later. He remained in the Navy for 21 years. During his time in the Navy, Ron attended several service schools including X-ray technician and Independent Duty schools.
Ron served with the United States Marine Corps for three years on the Inspector Instructor staff. He ended his naval service on board the U.S.S. Saratoga (CV-60) as leading Chief of the medical department. Ron received several citations during his naval career including the Navy Commendation medal, the Navy Achievement medal, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and the Navy Expeditionary medal.
For the past 13 years, Ron has been the clerk supervisor for the law firm of Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf and Hendler, LLC. He also serves as the financial secretary for the Veterans of the 213st Transportation Truck Battalion, Inc., a non-profit corporation formed by National Guard veterans who served on active duty during the Korean War and were the only Maryland National Guard unit to do so.
Ron has been married for 46 years to Sharron E. Scott and they have three children: Airrion, Symkai and Desiree. They also have four grandchildren. Adelberg Rudow thanks Ron for his service to our country and is proud to have him as the clerk supervisor at our firm.
